DocuSCAN processes documents you scan on your device. Extracted text and images are stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, may be synced to your account. We do not collect personal data beyond what you provide when creating an account (email, display name

How We Use Your Data

Your scanned documents and account data are used solely to provide the DocuSCAN service: storing your scans, enabling editing and export, and syncing across your devices when you sign in.

Data Storage

Scan history is stored locally on your device and, when authenticated, may be stored in secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase) associated with your account. Each user's data is isolated and identified by their email address.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. When you use the share feature (email, WhatsApp, etc.), you control what you send and to whom.

Camera & Photo Library

DocuSCAN requests access to your camera and photo library to scan documents. This access is used only when you initiate a scan. We do not access your photos or camera when the app is in the background.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account tab. This permanently removes your account and associated data from our systems.
